Confused, PUZZLEd, and in a daze

Please excuse the nbb reference, but you gotta love it.

This Christmas break has been awesome for many reasons, but probably the biggest one is having family around!! Different siblings have been coming in and out, and it has been nothing short of a party.

Yesterday and today Cami and Ethan have been over. Sledding, watching of Modern Family, and puzzle putting together ensued.

Cami is a puzzle genius, while I have never successfully finished an entire puzzle. But she got a Harry Potter puzzle for Christmas, so I just couldn't resist. With determination, team-work (mostly cami-work), and a love of HP, we made this masterpiece!!!

It has been a blast! and I am so proud of us for finishing that thing!

Happy Winter, everyone!

New Look!

So, I re did my blog in hopes of being re-inspired. It's actually working pretty well. I'm also digging it's new name, seeing as my blog my life in a nut shell, as well as a look into my mind, which could be considered a nutshell, seeing as I am insane. Clever, eh?

Song of the week? An oldie, but a goodie. The Lovin' Spoonful's "Daydream." Been stuck in my head nonstop. But I love it. Look it up, I'm too lazy to post a link.

Also, I love winter break. And Jeopardy.

Since it's christmas, let's be glad

Merry Christmas, everyone!! I absolutely love the holiday season. From listening to Christmas music, to looking at the lights, to drinking the hot cocoa, to getting the perfect gift, to giving the perfect gift, Christmas makes me happy!!

I found this Christmas was a themed Christmas, and whatever I gave someone, they seemed to give me something along the same lines. I gave Maggie a tissue box holder decorated with different actors (including james franco) and she gave me a james franco pillow case! I gave Erin mustache bandages, she gave me a mustache bobby pin! I gave my dad a statue of the Jep stands the contestants play in, and he got me Jeopardy question of the day calender. It was great.

More than getting gifts (which I love) I LOVE getting people the right gift!! There is nothing I love more than seeing people's faces when they open a present that was picked out with love.

But seriously. I also love getting gifts. This year I got a lot of things I know I am going to LOVEEEE for a long time.

1. My PENGUIN PILLOW PET!!!! Erin's got one for her Guadalupe buddy, and I was SOO jealous. My mo--SANTA got me it last minute, when I didn't think she was going to. I love him. (The penguin. And her. My mom.)

2. I had Hermione's wand, which has made me very happy, but I just couldn't deny that it didn't feel right. It wasn't truly my wand. So I sold it to my Hemione-ish friend Courtney, and for Christmas I got GINNY'S WAND! I could practically see the light shining and the wind blow in my face. It was made for me.

3. You'll remember from my last post my new desire to become a professional face painter?? Well, my dream is coming true!! I got an amazing face paint kit, and I was able to go over to the Archibalds' house and get plenty of practice. (They all wanted one on both cheeks and their foreheads!) I love those kids.

4. Andy got me an awesome HP calender, and an HP tee shirt. He knows me too well.

5. Like I said, My dad got me an AWESOME Jepeordy calendar that I am SO excited to use.

6. Gifts cards for itunes! (from my parents) and Barnes and Noble (from my g-ma!) I am so excited to use both of them. I love new music and books!! WOO!

LOTS OF OTHER STUFF THAT I LOVE AND THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR GIVING ME STUFF AND I LOVE YOU AND YOU'RE THE BEST!!!!

K bye. Here's Sufjan. And an AWESOME video that I wish I had made. Watch it. Watch it now.
