I don't get why we can't say "Merry Christmas" anymore, we have to say "happy holidays." Does anyone really care if we say Merry Christmas, or are we just worried they might care? If someone came up to me and said "happy Hanukkah!" I wouldn't freak out and scream, I'M NOT JEWISH, DANG YOU!!! I would be all, hey, thanks, man. Happy Hanukkah to you too, and Merry Christmas, and joyful Kwanza and all the rest. I bet a Jewish person would do the same to me if I said Merry Christmas. All I know is, it's almost Christmas, and I'm excited. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

...ranting. What else are blogs for?
ya wanna know what bugs me? (too bad, because I'm going to type it anyway, and you have no say in the matter.) People who are all "don't judge me...mrah!" and then turn around and are the most judgemental people on the planet! It irks me how hypocritical humans in general are. I know I'm not the exception, but at least I try. It seems like other think of themselves and themselves alone, and everyone has to adhere to the way THEY think things should be, no matter what the consequece to others. It's like no one has any respect for others anymore. No respect for their peers, their elders, people's property...nothing! Kids are so rude to teachers! Sure, you don't agree with them, but they deserve your respect. Most of the time, I've noticed, kids don't like teachers because the studnets are lazy sacks of trash who get mad when they face the consequences of not doing their work. It makes me so frustrated!

Communication actually works!
So I made a miraculous discovery about life this past week. Communication actually works! I usually prefer cursing the dark to lighting a candle, but I think that is going to change from now on. Let me tell you my story. I was extremely frustrated with school *cough* AP world history *cough* and how much work I was putting in with little results. I spent most of my time whining and complaining about all the work we had to do, and little time actually doing it. So after procrastinating an essay and realizing after beginning I had no idea what to do, I decided to actually talk to the teacher because, heck, I know teachers aren't generally known for this, but maybe he could help me with it. After discussing it with him, and delving further into frustrations and complaints, we came up with a solution that made both parties happy. Now I know how to do the essay, have a improved attitude and refreshed work ethic, and he knows this class is a priority to me and isn't as much of a jerk to me anymore. Things are coming up Hannah.
PS/ Just giving Matt a shout out like he failed to do in his blog even though he said he would.

Hannah's first blog...aww how cute.
This is my frist post on my first blog ever. How exciting. I got the inspiration to start this blog from reading my sister's new book, The Way He lived (which is amazing by the way, check it out! www.emilywingsmith.com ). Anyway, one of the characters in the book has a blog, and it helps her calm her eccentricities. I figured i would give it a shot, since heaven knows I need help calming mine. Luckily for me, unlike the character in the book, I didn't have a mental breakdown, and my younger brother, who may or may not be gay, didn't die while on a scout campout because he sacrificed his water for the other campers. So I've got that going for me. Which is nice.
